Gov’t ‘Deports’ American Suspected Of Funding Bobi Wine

The Ugandan government has reportedly deported an American citizen, Jackie Wolfson, it believes has been funding Kyadondo East lawmaker, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

According to lawyer, Nicholas Opiyo, she was arrested on Saturday and deported on Sunday.

“Jackie Wolfson of the Shule Foundation was arrested on the weekend & deported by the Ugandan authorities via a KLM flight out of Entebbe at 11.45pm on Sunday on the baseless accusations of using her NGO to fund & people power. Paperwork we signed before her arrest,” Opiyo tweeted.

According to reports, Jackie was using her SHULE Foundation to channel money to Bobi Wine.

“Home safe and sound in the Big Apple with my Bree. Thank you and to the ladies of Flight 537 for all the hospitality and kindness you showed me. You are now my favorite airline,” Jackie tweeted on arrival in the states.
