Uganda Baati Injects Shs200m In Education Sector

Uganda Baati, one of the leading manufacturers of roofings products has injected over sh200m in education sector since this year started as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

While speaking at St. Kizito Primary School, Sekabusolo, Wakiso District, where  the company donated items on Monday, Immaculate Akiror,  the Uganda Baati Manager Corporate and Communication said that the company has invested over Shs200m in education sector off their undisclosed budget in 2019.

“Our Corporate Social Responsibility plan lies under 4 pillars; education, shelter, environment and health. We have so far invested Shs200m on education alone with several beneficiaries across the country,” she said.

St Kizito, a government funded school received sheets and ridges worth Shs6M and an engineer to do the roofing courtesy of Uganda Baati.

The school with over 300 students started in 1958 and is experiencing infrastructure challenges.

It’s under vigorous renovation with support from the Rotary Club of Kampala East.
