Police have confirmed that two foreign nationals have died in Uganda’s capital, Kampala.
According to a statement issued by police spokesperson, Emilian Kayima, the two have been identify as Hans Jurgen Vallant, a Germany national and Eric Yvomr, a citizen of Belgium.
According to the statement, Vallant died last Friday as he was being transfered to Nsambya Hospital from Case Clinic. While the Belgian reportedly committed suicide. A postmortem confirmed the Germany succumbed to heart attack.
Eric who was with a lady identified as Joseline Mupfasoni reportedly took his own life although details of what forced him to take the action are unknown.
Police has launched an investigation.
