The Uganda National Examinations body has announced that it will release the Uganda Certificate of Education examination results on Thursday 31st January 2019.
According to an internal memo released on Tuesday seen by this website, the
release of these results will take place at the UBOS conference hall in Kampala
starting at 2:30 PM.
This comes a few weeks after the release of the 2018 PLE exams on the 17th
January 2019 that saw top Kampala schools crash.
The results have since been met with stiff criticism over allegations of unfair
marking.
UNEB has defended itself, saying that their marking didn’t favor any particular
schools.
Over 300,000 students sat for UCE exams in 2018.
