Ugandans Laud Health Ministry PS Diana Atwine Countrywide Supervision Tours

Uganda’s Health Ministry Permanent Secretary has won the praise of Ugandans over her recent supervision tours across the country.

Dr Diana Atwine who on Monday ended her supervision across the country to assess access to health services, has been lauded for the move with many hoping it will inspire other government officials.

She was accompanied by a team from the health ministry.

“We have finalized our support supervision in the districts of Bulambuli, Sironko, Kween, Tororo and Kapchorwa. We accessed service delivery and inspected construction works for upgrade of lower units. We encourage the local governments to also take their supervision role seriously,” Diana said on Monday.
