UCAA To Conduct Routine Night Hot Fire Drills At Entebbe Airport

Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) is set to conduct routine night hot fire drills at at Entebbe International Airport from from March 18-21, 2024.

“UCAA notifies the public that the Authority will conduct routine night hot fire drills from March 18-21 at Entebbe Airport in preparation for handling emergency situations,” UCAA says in a statement.

It adds: “ Users of the airport facilities and residents of Entebbe are advised not to be alarmed by the exercise.”

Ensuring fire safety in airport operations is of utmost importance, as it serves as the primary defence against this potentially lethal threat.

A robust rescue and fire fighting program not only safeguards the lives of passengers, staff, and property but also offers numerous benefits to the aviation ecosystem.
