“Canada is saddened by the tragic military plane crash that occurred in Algeria yesterday, which has claimed the lives of 257 people.
“As an international partner and a friend, Canada stands with the people of Algeria as they grieve and offers its deepest sympathies to all those affected by this tragedy.”
