SolarNow has launched a festive season campaign dubbed ‘Jaguza Ne SolarNow This Christmas’ in which clients are set to enjoy a 30% discount on the company’s products.
This offer was announced during the launch on Friday where the CEO Dan Wellington, revealed that the company is on course to deliver energy solutions to disadvantaged people.
During this campaign, families will be able to purchase products like lights, TVs, phones, radio, fridges etc, powered by Solar Home Systems for African rural off-grid households ranging from 50Wp to 500Wp (3 lights to a modern household) and of 500 Wp to 5 kWp.
“We have 40 branches countrywide and are the company with the biggest footprint of solar energy in remote areas,” Dan Wellington, the CEO said.
He added, “I would also like to appreciate the Solar industry players & association, together with whom we’ve transformed lives of millions of people in this country be it school going children having access to proper lighting, giving farmers stability in yields through our irrigation solutions and creating employment through job creation.”
Wellington cited dumping of poor quality solar products on the Ugandan market as one of their biggest challenges and has appealed to government to ensure the situation is contained.
Joyce Nkuyahaga, the CEO Uganda Solar Energy Association (USEA), who was chief guest at the function, said SolarNow’s presence in Uganda is proof that solar energy is making significant inroads in the Ugandan energy sector.
SolarNow sells high quality European standards solar energy solutions in Uganda and Kenya and formed by Dutch technicians.
