A 29-year-old taxi driver from Nyendo in Masaka has won an all-expenses-paid trip to London to watch Chelsea FC play live at Stamford Bridge, as part of the ongoing Predator Energy “Under the Crown” consumer promotion.
Kiyinji Paul, who operates along the Sembabule–Masaka route, entered the competition via SMS after purchasing a Predator Energy drink.
Speaking after receiving the news, Kiyinji said the win was unexpected. “I have always loved football, and Chelsea is one of the biggest teams in the world. I never imagined I could get this kind of opportunity from just buying a drink. It is truly amazing,” he said.
Predator Energy drink is part of a strategic partnership between Monster Energy Company and Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU), with CCBU handling the local production and nationwide distribution. The ongoing campaign is rewarding fans across the country with daily airtime, weekly motorbikes, and grand prize trips to London, reflecting strong nationwide participation.
Running from 2 April to 15 June 2026, the campaign – “Win a Chelsea FC Experience in London” – is open to Ugandans aged 18 and above and celebrates the country’s passion for football.
Michael Kimuli, Business Manager, Uganda at Monster Energy Company, said the campaign aims to connect with fans through one of Uganda’s most popular sports. “We are excited to see everyday consumers like Kiyinji win. His story reflects the excitement the promotion is generating across the country,” he said.
Throughout the campaign, participants stand a chance to win a variety of exciting prizes, including daily airtime worth UGX 405 million in UGX 1,000, 2,000, UGX 5000, and UGX 10,000 denominations, as well as 15 motorbikes awarded through weekly draws and the grand prize, an all-expense paid trip to London for five winners and their guests to watch a Chelsea FC match live at the iconic Stamford Bridge stadium.
To participate, consumers simply need to purchase a Predator 350ml PET bottle with a white cap, check the unique code under the cap, and send it via SMS to 6688 to enter the draw.
