Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, the leader of the People Power Movement has named Dr. Zedriga Lina Waru Abuku as the Deputy Leader of the People Power Movement.
“Comrade Zedriga is an activist, lawyer and university lecturer. She is a retired judicial officer, author and mentor. She is a social inclusion advocate and has participated in Uganda’s political processes for a very long time,” Bobi Wine, who is also the Kyadondo East MP, said in a statement posted on his official facebook page.
He added: “She has borne the brunt of the regime’s excesses as will be communicated in due course. We are very excited to welcome her to the leadership of the People Power Movement.”
