The Kabaka (king) of Buganda Kingdom, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has reshuffled his Cabinet, dropping city lawyer, David F.K. Mpanga (in featured photo) as the kingdom’s Attorney General.
He has been replaced with another city lawyer, Christopher Bwanika.
Mpanga, who has been Buganda Attorney General since 2013 is now a minister in charge of Special Assignments.
According to a statement released this evening by Kabaka’s Private Secretary, Peter Mpanga, many ministers in the Mengo government have retained their positions.
Charles Peter Mayiga has been retained as the Katikkiro (Prime Minister) of the Buganda government.
Lawyer Apollo Makubuya has also been dropped as the Kingdom’s 3rd Deputy Katikkiro. He has been appointed Kabaka’s Chief Advisor on ‘Lubiri’ matters.
