UCAA Puts Up Special Arrangements For Pilgrims Travelling To Mecca As Passengers Tipped On How To Avoid Inconveniences

The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has assured pilgrims traveling to Mecca of the normal traffic flow of flights according to the routine schedule.

According to UCAA, the pilgrims will be traveling to Mecca through Entebbe International Airport starting June 1, 2024, to June 7, 2024, for the holy pilgrimage.

UCCA Spokesman Vianney M. Luggya, said in a statement last night that the pilgrims should not worry about any delays in the scheduled flights to Mecca, among others.

“This is to inform the traveling public that pilgrims are scheduled to travel to Mecca through Entebbe International Airport from June 1–7, 2024. Due to the anticipated traffic buildup, departing passengers are advised to allocate extra time to avoid missing flights during this period.”

Luggya also revealed that the Authority has set aside a parking area specifically for the pilgrims to meet.

“A designated area in the car parking lot has been reserved for pilgrims to gather,” said Luggya.
