Top City Lawyer, Frederick Ssentomero Dies After Collapsing At His Home

The legal fraternity in Uganda on Friday morning woke to the sad news of one of their learned friend’s passing.

According to reports, Lawyer Frederick Ssentomero, collapsed at his home and died as he was being rushed to the hospital.

It is not yet clear why he collapsed.

Ssentomero has been representing Kisekka market vendors in their legal battle over the management of the market.

“Fred was an expert in corporate transactions, Tax, Intellectual Property, Restructuring , Banking and Finance Law. He mentored a number of lawyers . He was also a Rotarian from the Rotary Club of Muyenga, the largest Club in Uganda. What a loss to this nation!!!!!” Mercy Kainobwisho, a city lawyer and IP expert wrote on Facebook.
