General David Sejusa has spoken out after a long haul of silence, revealing that he is working silently to unseat President Yoweri Museveni.
The controversial General says talks hows and talks with Museveni won’t force him (Museveni out of power).
He made the remarks on his official twitter account where he describes himself as the Chairman of ‘Free Uganda’. His remarks followed a story by Daily Monitor indicating that Museveni and FDC’s Dr. Kizza Besigye had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to have talks.
“So those interested negotiating with @Museveni got2 make him very WEAK first. A Still strong @m7 cant negotiate himself out of power. Why would he? Bse he is a good christian? Those who think otherwise can dream on. Better 2 build and defeat him outright!” Sejusa twitted.
He said the talks with Museveni at the moment cant happen.
“Just wasting peoples time! Shortcuts dont work with bullies like @museveni PERIOD!Not until it becomes clear that he cant win or its to his advantage to make a deal. Otherwise dont deceive pple. @museveni despises those he views as weak .keep on struggle,” he said, adding: “Talks with @YKMUSEVENI at the current moment are only possible in the following scenarios. First, if opposition want a decent wat to SURRENDER. That he can grant u. Second, when @m7 feels talks can buy him time or strengthen him. Third, to halt yr momentum.”
He revealed that even where strongmen are forced into a deal like was in Zimbabwe, ‘it ultimately took the military to remove him.”
“Yes, strongmen ultimately loose (sic) power and our own @Museveni is going to loose (sic) it and he knows it. But it can’t be thru those talks. Just concentrate on the struggle,” he said.
On whether he is still in the struggle to unseat Museveni, Sejusa said: “People like us never surrender! Thought you knew!! But anyway,not everyone doing serious work is in that “public realm”. Will take much×3 more to remove @Museveni than the podium and talk shows. You will see. And when its all passed, u will remember these words.”
