Nurses at Mulago hospital thanked Ruparelia Foundation led by Naiya Ruparelia (2nd R) for the good gesture

The Ruparelia Foundation has today donated 240 hampers to sick children at Mulago hospital’s pediatric ward.

Shortly after handing over the hampers, Naiya Ruparelia, the Ruparelia Foundation trustee said the activity was done to basically put a smile “on these children’s face”.

“They are very strong children, it’s amazing and some are really strongly fighting for their lives,” Naiya said.

She also noted that the foundation has been carrying out this activity quarterly but hopes to do it monthly once they get more donations from their partners such that they are able to visit different hospitals across the country.

Ruparelia Foundation is the charitable arm of the Ruparelia Group of Companies.

“We admire their strength and hope that they get well soon. We will do this quarterly but we hope to eventually have it become a monthly activity with sponsorships from more people,” Naiya said.

Ruparelia Foundation has for the past eight years worked together with several people and companies to champion positive change in different communities across Uganda.
