There were dramatic scenes in Uganda’s capital, Kampala as rival boda boda cyclists torched offices of the Boda Boda 2010 group whose leaders were arrested last weekend.
Hajji Abdallah Kitata, leader of the group and several others were arrested by operatives from the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI). The group is suspected to be involved in crime in the city.
The army has reportedly been deployed to curb the as looting and burning of the offices in Makindye, a Kampala city suburb.
