Residents of Kamwokya, a suburb on the outskirts of Uganda’s capital, Kampala on Thursday blocked roads and set logs alight as they protested the arrest of Kyadondo East lawmaker, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
Social media has been awash with some pictures of what has been happening in the suburb, famed for it’s allegiance to Bobi Wine.
There are reports that the police have used teargas to disperse crowds.
