Pearl Of Africa Hotel Offers Perfect Place To Sweat out Lockdown Weight as Gyms Open

On Monday, government announced a further easing of the lock down imposed to control the spread of coronavirus.

Among the restrictions eased, gyms, cinemas and casinos are set to be open beginning on 14th November 2020 but with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) fully followed.

The Ministry of Health also announced an increase in the number of people who can attend weddings, political rallies and prayers. The said meetings will now host not more than 200 people.

Majority Ugandans are now expected to hit the gym as they strive to shed off months off collected fat when the facilities were closed.

Before the lock down, the hotel’s wellness centre hosted weekly aerobics classes.

Pearl Of Africa Hotel is home to world class facilities including; a fitness center, sauna, garden, a terrace and bar. This hotel has air-conditioned units with a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy meals at an onsite restaurant.

All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a coffee machine, private bathroom, free toiletries and a desk. Certain rooms offer garden views.

It is owned by Mohammed Hammid aka Chairman Hamid, one of the most successful businessmen in Africa.

His Aya Group is one of Uganda’s largest business conglomerates with interests in mining, biscuit manufacturing, milling and logistics.

The company is currently working on building a $4 billion industrial park in Uganda.
