The Eastern Uganda National Resistance Movement Party (NRM) Vice Chairperson and the Ex- Health Minister Captain Mike Mukula has said internal wrangles in the party are more dangerous than Uganda’s opposition.
Mukula, who was speaking during a meeting for NRM leaders in Eastern Uganda held in Mbale, also said corruption among NRM leaders was affecting the party’s ability to implement effective service delivery.
“These political parties are not a challenge to NRM. They are not. The biggest challenge the party faces is within itself,” Mukula said.
He also told the leaders that they are being fought by people within the NRM and not the opposition.
However, Mukula did not point fingers at specific individuals in the party he thinks are behind this intrigue.
