Uganda’s President, Yoweri Museveni has joined the list of good Samaritans of talented and bedridden singer Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio after he contributed shs3om towards the latter’s treatment.
This development was confirmed by music promoter, Balaam Barugahare on Tuesday.
“Thank you Mr President YK Museveni for the financial contribution of 30,000,000 ugx paid direct this evening to case medical centre to cater for part of Mozy Radio medical bill we are proud to have you as a father of our country long live,” Balaam wrote on his Facebook account.
He added, “Thank you for listening and acting to the request made to you by Balaam Barugahara,bebe cool, Gudlyfe management Team and Carthy Kusasira up on the incidence gwe asinga. Thank you on behalf of entertainment industry, friends and Mozy Radio family.”
Museveni’s contribution comes almost a week after mysterious tycoon, Brian White gave shs25m for the same cause.
Radio is currently admitted at Case Clinic in Kampala after he sustained injuries from a bar brawl two weeks ago. His condition is said to be improving according to close family members.
In a related development, singing Pastor, Wilson Bugembe has organised prayers for Mowzey set to be held at the Pastor’s Light The World Church in Nansana, a suburb on the outskirts of the capital, Kampala.
