Lieutenant General Andrew Guti has been reappointed the Chairman of the UPDF General Court Martial (GCM).
Brig Richard Karemire, the UPDF Spokesman confirmed the development.
“Congratulations to Lt Gen Andrew Gutii and team for being reappointed by the High Command to the UPDF General Court Martial,” he twitted in his official twitter handle.
Guti became GCM Chairman in 2016 after the death of Major General Levi Karuhanga.
Gen. Guti is a seasoned soldier with immense experience, having served in many command positions including Force Commander of the Amisom in Somalia between May 2012 and December 2013.
Lt. Gen Guti served as Commandant of the Senior Command and Staff College in Kimaka.
