President Yoweri Museveni has appointed the country’s Airforce chief of staff as the new Special Forces Command (SFC) head.
The change was announced on Tuesday evening according to reports indicating that Major General James Birungi has replaced Major General Don Nabaasa.
The reports add that Nabaasa has been sent to do a military course although the country has not been mentioned.
Nabaasa has been SFC boss since 2017.
