  1. I suggest that the following steps are followed to develop FBDGs

    1. A comprehensive assessment of the current dietary patterns (this is dynamic because of climate change, urbanization, population dynamics etc)
    2.The Food Composition Tables/understand the science of what is on our plates and the nutritional implications
    3. Develop informed Food Based Dietary guidelines
