Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni and Indian Premier, Nerandra Modi have vowed strengthen relations between the two nations.
This was after the two leaders met on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) underway in London.
“Held a bilateral discussion with India’s Prime Minister Nerandra Modi in London on sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. We committed to working towards stronger relations between our two countries,” Museveni’s twitter handle reads.
Uganda and India enjoy warm relations with the Asian economic powerhouse investors on the East African nation.
