Noah Kiiza, one of the affected residents says that Juuko has deployed a grader on the contested piece of land that is clearing the land destroying their garden crops. He says many of them have nowhere else to go.

Edward Irumba, a resident of Kiburwa west wants the government to come to their rescue and stop Juuko from grabbing their ancestral land.

Sulaiman Tumusiime, a resident of Kihuurwa village says he was beaten from within his garden by the men guarding the suspected land grabber when he tried to inquire about who they are and where they had come from.

Juuko says he secured it from the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom for development. The matter is now being investigated by the Resident District commissioner.
