The Ministry of Health has announced 14 new COVID-19 cases of Ugandan nationality from samples tested on 24 May, 2020.
“The total confirmed cases (of Ugandans) are now 212,” the Ministry said, adding that all new cases are contacts to previously confirmed truck drivers.
“All contacts were under quarantine at the time of test,” the Ministry said, adding that 5 positive foreign truck drivers (all Tanzanians) were handed over to their country of origin.
Uganda has 65 recoveries and zero COVID-19 related deaths.
