Uganda Registers 15 New COVID-19 Cases

Uganda Friday May22, 2020 confirmed 15 new COVID-19 cases.

“The total confirmed cases are now 175,” the Ministry of Health said, adding that 12 new cases are truck drivers while 3 cases are contacts to previously confirmed truck drivers.

“All contacts were under quarantine at the time of test,” the Ministry added.

It added that 23 positive foreign truck drivers were handed over to their country of origin.

Uganda has 68 COVID-19 recoveries and zero related deaths.
