The Secretary General of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, Justine Kasule Lumumba has promised to support Dr Kenneth Omona in his new role as Principal Private Secretary to the President.
On Saturday, Museveni made changes to the cabinet that saw Omona, the NRM Treasurer appointed PPS.
“I would like to offer you my most sincere congratulations upon your nomination to a new responsibility as the Principal Private Secretary to H.E the President,” Lumumba says.
She adds, “Your appointment is not only a reward to your individual commitment and hard work but also a vote of confidence in the Secretariat. At NRM, we pledge our full support to you and we look forward to a productive cooperation.”
Omona will be replacing Molly Kamukama who has been appointed Minister of State for Economic Monitoring under the office of the president.
He previously served as lawmaker representing Kaberamaido district.
