Customers that were found present at this betting centre were rewarded with gifts like original team jerseys for top teams like Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool, cups, T-shirts, pens, wristbands-all branded with Fortebet.
“As long as you have placed a bet, you are walking home with a gift from Fortebet. There is no draw, no hidden terms and conditions,” said John Nanyumba, the company’s Media Manager, while addressing the customers at the centre shortly before the gifts were given out.
Four customers won themselves jerseys for clubs; Manchester United, Manchester, Chelsea and Arsenal jerseys after placing bets of Shs50,000 and above, in addition to wristbands and pens.
Four other customers walked home with a T-shirt each while five more customers who had placed a bet of Shs20, 000 got a cap each and other gifts. All the other customers that placed bets with Shs2,000 and above got different prizes as mentioned above.
“This exercise of giving back has been going on for now some time. It is not ending here. We are going to reach all our branches countrywide. Even for the branches we have reached, we shall keep on coming back. You just need to keep checking our facebook page to know which branch shall get the gifts in the following weekend,” Nanyumba promised.
