Former Red Pepper journalist and businessman, Keefa Nuwahereza, has joined the race for Kamwokya LC 3 seat.
Nuwahereza, 34, a resident of Kamwokya joins a list of other aspirants working tooth and nail to unseat the current L.C.3 Chairman, James Kakoza come 2021.
The People Power diehard has already started strategizing on how to take the hot seat.
It is understood that Nuwahereza also known as The People Power son of Kamwokya under his group ‘’abana beka’’ has registered massive support mostly from the youth who claim to have been left behind in terms of development and empowerment under the ruling NRM regime.
“I have come up with many programmes which will change our youth in Kamwokya. I have plans to mobilize and organize youth so that they secure youth funds. I will also focus on sports and games, HIV counseling. All that will be explained deeply in my rich manifesto,” Nuwahereza said.
It is understood that Nuwahereza is involved in real estate business. He also in the business of selling alcohol.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Logistics from Uganda Christian University, Mukono.
Although he studied the above course, he has been practicing journalism and marketing at Red Pepper. He quit a few years ago to concentrate on his private businesses.
