Uganda’s Ministry of Health has confirmed 30 new COVID-19 cases from samples tested on 07 June 2020. The total confirmed cases are now 646.

Dr. Henry Mwebesa (pictured), the Director General-Health Services at Ministry of Health said in a press statement said that 51 foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 and were handed over to their respective countries of origin.
Mwebesa noted that Uganda has a total of 103 recoveries and no COVID-19 related deaths.
