Victoria University’s Dr. Sharma Creates Record Of World’s ‘Youngest Vice Chancellor’

The Vice Chancellor of Victoria University Dr. Krishna N. Sharma (in featured photo) has created a record of world’s ‘Youngest Vice Chancellor”, Unique World Records has said.

In a certificate awarded to Dr. Sharma seen by this website, Dr. Desraj Goyal, the Chief Editor, Unique World Recods Ltd says Sharma was born on 24th December 1984 in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Dr Sharma is now world’s youngest Vice Chancellor

He became the Vice Chancellor of Victoria University at the age of 32 years, 6 months and 15 days.

He was appointed on 9th July 2017 as Vice Chancellor at Victoria University, Uganda.According to Wikipedia, Unique World Records is a world record book published in India. The reference book  is published annually, listing all world records in the categories of amazing facts, biggest, business, collections, creativity, education, extraordinary talent, inventions, marathon, memory and mental world, most and mass, people and places, smallest, strength and stamina, and youngest achievers.

More about Dr. Sharma

Starting in 2007, Krishna N. Sharma has been an Assistant Lecturer and then Head of Department and Vice Principal at Jeevan Jyoti Institute of Medical Sciences, Allahabad, India and  Dean at St. Louis University, Cameroon.  

He was also Dean– Faculty of Health Sciences at Victoria University, Kampala prior to becoming the VC.

Dr. Sharma is also an author. His literary career began in Mau in 2005. He has written over 100 bookson medical and health sciences, music and literatureand a few of them had been listed in the bestsellers list on amazon.com.

Commenting about the development, Rajiv Ruparelia, a vibrant young entrepreneur, and passionate promoter of Victoria University said the University saw unique characters in Sharma in an effort to churn out the best graduates in Uganda and beyond.

He said Dr. Sharma is hardworking, innovative, open-minded, committed and self-driven.
