URA Boss Akol Wins Another Continental Award

The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Commissioner General, Doris Akol has yet again scooped a continental award- the African Woman in Leadership Award.

Akol was recognised last night September1, 2018, with the African Virtuous Award for African Woman in Leadership at the Women Development Centre, Abuja Nigeria for demonstrating exemplary selfless services and projecting good leadership qualities on the continent and beyond.

This follows the Public Service Excellence Award in Africa Award by the African Leadership Magazine which also saw Doris inducted into the CEOs Hall of Fame earlier this year in February, 2018.

Ako, who was represented at the awards gala by her Executive Assistant, dedicated the accolade to URA staff and to the women in Uganda.
