UP FOR GRABS: Labour Ministry Approves Premier Recruitment’s Job Order Of 200 Ugandans To Work In UAE

Premier Recruitment has been securing Ugandans jobs abroad since the reopening of labour externaliztion sector following its closure due to COVID-19

Uganda Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development  has cleared  Premier Recruitment Limited to recruit 200 Ugandans to work in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

All the 200 workers needed will work as cleaners and will earn United Arab Emirates dirham (AED) 1200 (about Shs1.2m) per month.

In a letter dated January 28, 2021 to Premier Recruitment,  Lawrence Egulu, the Labour Ministry Permanent Secretary, responding to the labour recruiting company’s letter dated 25th January 2021, says “This request has been evaluated and found to meet the requirements of the pertinent provisions of the Employment (Recruitment of Ugandan Migrant Workers Abroad) Regulation, 2005 and Guideline 13.0 of the Guidelines 011 the Recruitment and Placement of Uganda Migrant Workers Abroad. 2015.”

Premier Recruitment is a fast growing  labour externalization company under the Ruparelia Group of Companies.

 Egulu said the “purpose of this letter, therefore, is to inform you that the (200) employment opportunities offered by TRANSGUARD GROUP in United Arab Emirates have been posted and are advertised on our website.”

“Your company is urged to continue following the provisions of the Regulations and Guidelines throughout the recruitment and deployment process of this category of Ugandan migrant workers,” the letter adds.

Uganda earns about US$1.4 billion a year from the labour externalization sector.
