Uganda’s COVID-19 Recoveries Increase To 578 As Country Registers 7 New Cases

The Ministry of Health hasconfirmed 7 new COVID-19 cases from samples tested on 20 June 2020. The total confirmed cases are now 770.

Total Recoveries stand at 578, the Ministry adds.

All new confirmed cases are Ugandans; 2 truck drivers from Points of Entry, 1 from Elegu and 1 from Malaba and 5 cases are among contacts and alerts: 3 from Kyotera, 2 from Amuru.

The Ministry adds that 12 foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 and were handed over to their respective countries of origin.
