Orient Bank limited has boosted the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Kampala Seven Hills Hash run-2019 with Shs15m sponsorship.

NSSF Managing Director Richard Byarugaba received the sponsorship from Orient bank Managing Director Julius Kakeeto on Friday.

The money will go towards organization of the annual charity run slated for March 17 in Kampala. This year’s Hash run targets Shs500m that will go towards the renovation of four upcountry schools on top of the KCCA public schools in Kampala.

Handing over the dummy cheque to Byarugaba, Kakeeto said: “As Orient Bank, we are very glad to partner with NSSF Uganda in the NSSF Hash run 2019 Education is a cause we strongly believe in. We trust this is our first year of a long term partnership.”  Previously, the run was only open to corporate companies that supported the cause by registering their employees as a team to participate in the run, but this year’s run has opened up to individual participation at Shs25,000 while companies will participate according to the different packages that include Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze
