President Museveni arrives for the event at Kololo where he was received by parliament officials led by Speaker Jacob Oboth
President Yoweri Museveni has revealed that government will present 38 Bills, policy frameworks, reports and statutory instruments for consideration by Parliament in the 2026/2027 financial year.
He said these are intended to strengthen governance and facilitate service delivery and development.
Museveni announced the proposed legislative agenda while delivering the State of Nation Address 2026 at Kololo independence grounds.
The proposed legislation is intended to address key areas of national development, governance, security, tourism, education, and workers’ welfare.
The Bills to be presented by the different ministers include;
