The Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) has arrested five former bodyguards of Gen Kale Kayihura, the detained ex police chief.
According to state media, the five werr arrested together with his Paersoanl Assistant.
The of bodyguards and PA were netted in connection with criminal activities including their alleged repatriation of Rwandan refugees being investigated by the army.
They were reportedly subjected to intense grilling by no nonsense CMI interrogators at Makindye Military Barracks where they are bwing held.
Kayihura was arrested last week in Lyantonde and is currently detained Makindye Military Barracks.
The army is yet to prefer any charges against him.
