Farouk Miya Joins Croatian Top Flight Club

Uganda Cranes forward Farouk Miya has joined Croatian side HNK Gorica from Standard Liege, reports FUFA official partners Airtel.

HNK Gorica and Standard Liege reached a deal and Miya signed a two-year contract with an option of a one year extension.

Miya has struggled to find time to play since joining Standard Liege from Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC in 2016.

The Ugandan has been to Excel Mouscron and most recently FK Sebail in Azerbaijan on loan but now finally settles for another shot at active football.

Miya captained the Cranes at the 2015 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup in Ethiopia, he was also part of the team at 2016 CHAN in Rwanda.
