dfcu Bank has rewarded 10 lucky customers and non-bank customers with cash prizes, worth Ugx 500,000/- each in its Bank-to-School campaign dubbed ‘Schools Fees and Smiles’. The winners were selected among those that paid school fees through dfcu Bank’s alternative channels, including dfcu QuickBanking, and SchoolPay.

This campaign was a part of dfcu’s overarching campaign ‘Reach for More’ launched to inspire customers to achieve all their life aspirations without financial limitations, with the bank as their financial partner.

Under this campaign, the bank continues to offer special financial packages to support schools in this academic year with the dfcu School Bridging Overdraft which allows school owners to access unsecured short-term facilities of up to 30% of their expected school fees collections.

Robert Wanok, Head of Personal and Business Banking at dfcu Bank, expressed his delight in announcing the winners of the Back-to-School Fees and Smiles’ promotion.

“Congratulations to the winners of this campaign. It gives us great joy when we give back to our customers. Thank you for trusting us as your preferred financial partner,” he applauded.

“The back-to-school season is usually stressful for most parents and guardians, and we are happy that we could bring a smile to some of our customers with this promotion. As a bank, we’re committed to providing financial solutions that meet every day needs of customers, and this is reflected in the way we tailor-make our tailored financial solutions and campaigns to meet the needs of our customers and the seasons they are going through.”

Wanok noted that dfcu Bank customers can access MobiLoans of up to UGX 2,000,000, through the bank’s online banking platforms, in less than five minutes. The loans come with competitive interest rates and same-day response times.
