Corporate Games Uganda has unveiled new partners ahead of the season kickoff in March.
The Corporate Games Uganda is a registered sports management association that organizes corporate games, corporate runs, corporate team buildings, and kids’ leagues for corporate employees/staff in Uganda with the primary objective of “Inspiring Corporates through Sports.”
Mr. Ian Rumanyika, the Chairperson of Corporate Games, appreciated all corporate games partners who have signed memorandums of understanding with NBS Sport and Next Media Group as the official media partners, Ritz Medical Centre as a health partner who will be providing medical attention to all participating corporates, ensuring we stay healthy as a health partner, who will be providing medical attention to all participating corporates, ensuring we stay healthy as we enjoy the games, NEC UZIMA LTD, water sponsors who will be providing refreshments to all participating companies, NEC FC Grounds, the host for all our games for season 2025, Node Group, PR and marketing agency partner, High5Media the media videography and photography sponsors and CIPI Events.
“We are also pleased to announce the distribution of 1,000 Mama Kits to expectant mothers in Northern and Eastern Uganda, made possible through the proceeds of the Corporate Run held in October last year. With the theme RUN FOR EXPECTANT MOTHERS, this run is not just about physical activity but also about coming together as a corporate community to support a cause at truly matters,” added Rumanyika. “We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the corporate companies and individuals who participated in the event. Your support and generous contributions have allowed us to make a tangible difference in the lives of new mothers in Northern and Eastern Uganda. Through collective action, we have turned a simple run into a life-changing initiative.”

Medical personnel from the above health centers were present to receive the kits and ensure that they reach the mothers who need them most. New games have been brought on board, for example, Okwempena and kart racing. Rumanyika also announced the CEO outing scheduled for April 2025 to support the good causes and give back to the community.
Next Media Group, represented by Mr. Andrew Kabuura, a sports broadcaster, appreciates the initiative of corporate games, giving back to the community, mothers, and helping people in the corporate world to stay fit. Next Media has partnered with the corporate games for 7 years as a media company and continue to work with Corporate Games with media coverage worth Shs 50,000,000.
Senior Communications Officer, National Lotteries and Gaming Board, Jackline Kamakune, thanked the corporate games for organizing the conference and would like to continuously contribute to giving back to the community. She further thanked BetPawa Uganda for giving back to the community and further thanked the media houses for being ambassadors of sports betting, which has been established mainly there for fun. She also confirmed that NLGRB will be part of the 2025 corporate games.
Allan Tumushabe, the Director of Chop Gaming (Betpawa), stated that being a part of corporate games is a privilege to help give back to the community, and no mother deserves to die while giving birth.
It’s not the first time they are giving back, as they helped with the construction of facilities for street kids.
Richard Kansime, the Head of Sales and Marketing at Uziima Water, pledged continuous support for the corporate games for the provision of the NEC pitch in Bugolobi and 80 cartons of water per outing throughout the year.
The 2025 season will officially kick off on March 02nd at NEC FC Grounds—Bugolobi, with unique sports disciplines such as soccer, aerobics, athletics, netball, volleyball, basketball, swimming, tug of war, kart racing, cycling, woodball, corporate chess, and several fun games like sack racing, Kwepena, and paintball (target shooting).
