Chillies Restaurant Temporarily Closes Ntinda Branch To Enable Investigations Into Staff Murder

Chillies Fast Foods and Takeaway has temporarily closed its Ntinda branch to enable Police carry out its onsite investigations following the gruesome murder of the Restaurant’s staff on Wednesday 31st March 2021.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police spokesperson identified the deceased Isaac Mugga, who was attacked while balancing books inside the restaurant.

In a statement, the Management of Chillies Fast Foods and Takeaway said they are collaborating with the police to the full extent of the law and that they have already given Police the CCTV recordings from the site.

“We are supporting the family with burial arrangements and other necessary assistance that maybe required during these dreadful times,” the statement reads in part.

It adds: “We deeply regret the loss of one of our own and our deepest condolences go to the family.”

The Restaurant management further apologizes to customers for the inconveniences caused by the temporary closure of the Ntinda branch.
