Aggie Konde Lands Fat Job At Top Regional Organisation

Aggie Asiimwe Konde, who has quit NTV as Managing Director will effective October1, 2017 become the Chief Executive Officer of a top regional organization, Msingi East Africa Ltd.

The organization confirmed snatching Konde from NTV.

Msingi is an independent East African organisation that is building competitive, inclusive and resilient industries in East Africa by supporting pioneer firms and removing key constraints in the enabling environment.

The organisation operates in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.  Ali A. Mufuruki, the Chairman of Msingi East Africa Ltd said the board and management of the organization will give Konde full support and that under her leadership; Msingi will achieve its ambition of “Building East Africa’s Industries of the future.”

Konde brings to the organisation over 20 years of professional experience in food and beverages, consumer goods and media sectors.

NTV has already confirmed Konde’s quitting after serving the TV station for four and half years as Managing Director.

Joe Muganda, the Group CEO, Nation Media Group said Konde was instrumental in a number of developments at one of the leading TV stations in the country. Muganda said Johnson Omollo, who has been serving as Advertising Head has been appointed to serve as Acting Head of TV until further notice. Omollo has been with ABUL for over 8 years.
