The Electoral Commission has shifted from Jinja-road based offices to new premises.
In a statement, the Commission says its head offices will be closed to the general public with effect from Friday, December 16, 2022 to enable the Commission “undertake the process of relocating the Head Office from the current premises on Plot 55 Jinja Road, Kampala to the following new address: Plot 1-3/5, Seventh Street, Industrial Area, Kampala (formerly Head office of the National Housing and Construction Company Ltd).”
According to the EC Secretary, Leonard Mulekwah, the new office will be open to the public starting Monday, January 16, 2023.
“Please note that during the relocation period, the Registry will be open at the new premises,” Mulekwah said, adding that other services can be accessed on the Commission’s website.
