Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has revealed that nothing will stop the country to achieve total economic independence.
Museveni was speaking as he launched the Uganda Airlines nee Airbus330neo at Entebbe International Airport.
“President Museveni: Uganda is not part of that group that will dance to the tune of this one and that one because we are too lazy to work. For us, we are building up our capacity with our own money,” President Museveni said.
The new A330neo Airbus will support Uganda’s economic growth by facilitating transport and tourism. It will be a major boost if the $400m Ugandans spend annually on air travel comes to our own airline.
Uganda Airlines has mapped out long routes where the two aircraft will be flying to including Guangzhou and Beijing Cities in China, Heathrow Airport in the UK, and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
