Ruparelia Foundation has donated bags of cement towards the completion of a multi-purpose hall of the Archdiocese of Mbarara Association (AMDA) that will be located in Rubaga division, Kampala.
The hall will be used to hold Sunday masses among other activities.
Receiving the donation on Monday at former CMI, the treasurer of construction committee, John Musimbi commended Ruparelia Foundation for the good gesture even when the Group isn’t owned by Catholics.
Over the years, Ruparelia Foundation has allocated substantial support to aid churches, mosques and other religious groups in improving service delivery in their communities.
In the recent past, the Foundation has contributed towards the construction of churches such as the completion of Our Lady Grace Chapel, contributed to transport facilities for Kizinga Church of Uganda’s new vehicle, facilitated activities of religious leaders such as contributing to the Church of Uganda Archbishop’s Emergency Fund which organised the “Farewell of the 7th Archbishop and Enthronement of the 8th Archbishop of Church of Uganda”, as well as being part of the contributors at the launching ceremony of a book written by Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala.
