Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs Minister in charge of East Africa has accused Uganda’s military intelligence unit of kidnapping a Rwandan citizen.
Olivier Nduhungirehe made the claim on micro-blogging website Twitter, on Sunday saying, Rogers Donne Kayibanda had been kidnapped after he attended his brother’s wedding in Kisasi.
“This is Rogers Donne Kayibanda @rkdonne. He arrived in #Kampala, #Uganda on Thursday 10 January 2019 to attend the civil wedding of his brother, which took place the following day Fri 11 Jan 2019,” Olivier twitted.
He added, “He was kidnapped after the ceremony in Kisasi, Kampala suburb, by CMI operatives.”
He also shared photos of ‘kidnapped’ Rogers.
CMI is yet to comment on the allegations.
