Ruparelias launching the goat races
Kampala goat races were officially launched Friday evening after taking a break for about six years.
Ruparelia Group official led by Rajiv Ruparelia, Sheena Ruparelia and Meera Ruparelia launched the goat races at Speke Apartments, Wampewo at an event that show music star Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool entertain guests. Bebe Cool bought the first goat at Shs1m and named it APASS.
Rajiv said the event will take place at Speke Resort Munyonyo on 25 August 2018. He called on Ugandans to not only come and watch the interesting races, but also network and socialize.
Goat races last took place in Kampala in 2011 -2012. The event is sponsored by Tusker Lager, Sanyu FM, Speke Hotel and Ruparelia Group.
