US Embassy To Equip Ugandan Youths With Business Skills

The US embassy in Kampala is inviting Ugandan youths with business ideas to apply for a business training opportunity scheduled for March 17-18, 2017.

In a public notice, the embassy says the youths aged between 18 and 30 with “a business or social enterprise idea” are encouraged to apply and attend the “Activator Weekends.”

“ACTIVATE WEEKENDS is a two day boot camp happening March 17-18. During the camp, participants will receive training, business advice, and support to move their ideas/venture from the drawing board to fruition,” the embassy says.

It adds: “…the first weekend will bring together a select 50 Participants from Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono for a non-Residential Entrepreneurs Boot Camp. If you are a leader in a start-up or have an idea that you want help launching, this is an opportunity for you to receive training, mentorship and inspiration from a distinguished panel of seasoned Entrepreneurs and Business people.”

The Program is an initiative of ACTIVATORS LTD with support from the US Mission Uganda. For details, check on US embassy Kampala’s official facebook page.
