A deputy ICT director at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission in Kenya has gone missing, the electoral agency’s chairman Wafula Chebukati revealed on Sunday.
“The last communication from him is an SMS text sent to one of his colleagues at around 3 am on Saturday morning. The content of the SMS suggests that he was conscious and fully aware of his itinerary for that day,” read statement sent to newsrooms on Sunday.
The electoral agency said it has reported the matter to the police and is working with his family members to establish his whereabouts.
